Flexible and Stretchable Nanolaminate encapsulation

Our team is focused on developing nanolaminate encapsulation barriers that can effectively shield organic electronic devices from external environments. By employing an innovative lamination technique for ultra-thin films at the nanometer scale, we are pioneering encapsulation structures that effectively control moisture penetration into the devices. Additionally, to apply this technology to free-form displays, we have developed flexible and stretchable barrier films that are resistant to deformation, bending, and stretching in various environments. This was achieved through the development of polymer blending technologies and techniques for infiltrating inorganic layers into polymers. As a result, we are providing more robust and adaptable protective barriers, opening up new possibilities in display technology.
